BIKE: 10 Miles

Start: Wheel & Sprocket Bay View

End: Milwaukee Kayak Company

Bring your own bike to Wheel & Sprocket Bay View in time to start the event. We’ll all depart together (parade style), head south to Sheridan Park, and then back north to Milwaukee Kayak Company. Wheel & Sprocket will transport your bike back to the start during your paddle.

PADDLE: 1 Hour

Start: Milwaukee Kayak Company

End: Milwaukee Kayak Company

You will launch & return to Milwaukee Kayak Company’s main location at Jerry’s Docks/Harbor Yards in the Harbor District. All participants will paddle out to the checkpoint and then turnaround to head back towards MKC. Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are provided. Solo & tandems available.

HIKE: 2 Miles

Start: Milwaukee Kayak Company

End: Wheel & Sprocket Bay View

You will launch & return to Milwaukee Kayak Company’s main location at Jerry’s Docks/Harbor Yards in the Harbor District. All participants will paddle out to the checkpoint and then turnaround to head back towards MKC. Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles are provided. Solo & tandems available.

12-1pm : PADDLE! @ Milwaukee Kayak Company

(Your bike will be transported to Wheel & Sprocket Bay View during your paddle)

1-2pm: HIKE! from Milwaukee Kayak Company > Wheel & Sprocket

2-5pm : Eat, drink, & be merry!

What’s Included?
- Kayak rental (please DO NOT bring your own!)
- Bike transport. Bring your bike to the start line Saturday morning, ride, and we’ll have it waiting for you upon your return to Wheel & Sprocket Bay View.
- Finisher Prize, 1 Free Beer, & Cookout Dinner
- Feel good vibes from helping support the Milwaukee Parks Foundation
What’s Not Included?
- Bike - BYOB(ike)! Most every bike should work for this event. The majority of the ride is on a bike path.
- Snacks - Please bring snacks if needed in the transistions. Based on feedback from last year, we will NOT be providing lunch.
Where should I park?
- A limited number of parking spaces are available in the Wheel & Sprocket Bay View parking lot. Overflow will be directed to FREE street parking on S Robinson Ave.
- Consider riding your bike to the shop & avoid the hassle of parking!
Can I start whenver I want? NO. We’ll head out together just a ‘lil after 10am.
Is my registration refundable? Short answer: NO. There’s no bad weather, only bad gear. All proceeds from this event benefit the Milwaukee Parks Foundation and the amazing work they do!
Is there a bike drop? Not needed! Because the bike is the first leg of our tour, you can roll up to the start line with your bike. Ride your bike or transport it via your vehicle to the start line.
